Lovely price (under £1000), would make a nice start to the new year for anyone interested - always fancied doing something similar myself.
You'd be visiting a few destinations (7 Countries, but more places) - the airlines vary from top ones such as ETIHAD to budget ones like EasyJet -
this post is aimed mostly at backpackers, so don't expect too much luxury. Plenty of places across the world to wash clothes etc. - make sure you plan accommodation and itineraries, this is just based for flights.
All flights are direct, and start and return to Gatwick!
There's a Small Europe Stay (Rome), then you visit the Middle East (Abu Dhabi), followed by the Indian Ocean (The Maldives), Asia (Kuala Lumpur, Manila & Tokyo), then a final USA leg (LA & Miami) - before you head home to London.
London to Rome - 21st Jan: here
Rome to Abu Dhabi - 24th Jan: here
Abu Dhabi to The Maldives - 29th Jan: here
Maldives to Malaysia - 9th Feb - hereYou might want to catch this flight a few days earlier, but with this itinerary, you'd be given a generous 11nts in the Maldives, you could tweak it to get more time elsewhere.
Also, might be worth visiting Singapore, flights tend to be cheap from Malaysia.
Malaysia to Manila - 15th Feb - here
Manila to Tokyo - 20th Feb - here
Tokyo to Los Angeles - 29th Feb - here
Los Angeles to Miami - 4th March - hereYou could technically end your trip here if you wanted, and go straight from LA to London, for around £220ish.
Miami to London: 10th March - here
The total comes to around £933!
Hope it helps someone
